　アップルがワイヤレス充電マットAirPowerの製造をついに開始した。香港メディアChargerLABが1月12日に報じた。

　ChargerLABは信頼できる情報筋からの話として、中国Luxshare PrecisionがすでにAirPowerの生産を始めたと伝えた。また、台湾Pegatronも1月21日から量産を開始するという。

　AirPowerはiPhoneやApple Watchなどの複数デバイスを同時に充電できるマット型の充電器。同製品は2017年9月に発表されていたが、技術的な問題からリリースが遅れているとのうわさが流れていた。

　AirPowerが発売されれば、ワイヤレス充電器をいくつも机のうえに置く必要がなくなるだろう。
