GunCon Resurrected in the Reiwa Era!? Shoot 'em up in Time Crisis and Gun Bullet!
At the Tassei Denki booth, compact speakers that can be used by simply connecting them to smartphones, Nintendo Switch, and other devices were on display. Characterized by their ease of use – just plug in a cable and you're ready to go – they are an interesting item for anyone who wants to enjoy games and videos with more powerful sound.

...However, what personally made me stop in my tracks was, without a doubt, the GunCon! An environment was set up where you could actually play classic light gun shooters like Time Crisis and Gun Bullet. Oh man, this is incredibly nostalgic! Memories of frantically shooting away at arcades came flooding back.
What's more, for Time Crisis, the familiar foot pedal used to reload and duck in and out of cover was perfectly recreated. When I actually played it, the aiming responsiveness was excellent, allowing me to swiftly point the gun at my target. It wasn't just a nostalgic display; the level of perfection made me think, "GunCon is still this much fun!"
The GunCon, which largely disappeared with the era of CRT televisions, is interestingly aiming for a revival so that its gameplay can be enjoyed in modern environments. For veteran light gun shooter fans, this is definitely a booth you'll be drawn to the moment you spot it.
