Elecom will release the detachable pet cart "PET-CART01BE" from its pet appliance brand mofult in mid-October. The price is 17,800 yen. Designed to be used in three ways—as a pet cart, a carrier, and a car bag—this product supports a wide range of travel scenarios with dogs and cats, from short walks and vet visits to outings by train or car.
A major feature of this product is its structure, which allows the carrier and frame to be separated. In addition to being pushed as a cart, the carrier can be carried independently, making it easy to use for outings involving multiple transfers. Furthermore, the carrier can be placed on a car seat and secured with a seatbelt, allowing it to be used as a car bag. When replaced with a flat cover, the total sum of the carrier's three sides becomes approximately 117cm, making it a compact size suitable for carrying onto public transportation.
Consideration has also been given to operability and comfort. The frame is equipped with suspension, and the front wheels rotate 360 degrees, making it easy to maneuver on uneven roads or in crowded places. The rear wheels have stoppers to prevent unintended movement when stopped. The frame is foldable, making it easy to load/unload into a car trunk and store.
