HP Japan announced the high-performance mobile workstation "HP ZBook Ultra G3a 16 inch" on October 7th. Pricing starts from 639,100 yen, with sales beginning on October 7th. As a launch commemoration, a limited-quantity campaign model including the high-performance headset "Poly Voyager 4320 UC" will also be available from 575,300 yen.

A major feature of the "HP ZBook Ultra G3a 16 inch" is its design, which incorporates the AMD Ryzen AI MAX PRO 400 series, enabling the handling of local AI agents and large-scale AI models on a single device. With up to AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495, up to 192GB of unified memory, a configuration allowing up to 160GB to be allocated as VRAM, and a 55 TOPS NPU, it facilitates specialized tasks such as design, development, analysis, and visualization without excessive reliance on the cloud. This aims to mitigate issues like inference costs, latency, and privacy concerns as companies transition from pilot phases to full-scale adoption of AI.

The chassis weighs approximately 1.9kg and is 18.4mm thin, balancing portability with performance. A new cooling design reportedly improves TDP by up to 81.8%, achieving up to 100W of performance. The included USB-C adapter utilizes GaN technology, offering high output of up to 180W in a compact and lightweight form factor. Furthermore, equipped with AMD Radeon integrated graphics, it supports advanced design and visualization workflows such as Autodesk Revit 2027, Autodesk 3ds Max, and Chaos Enscape.
