Mouse Computer announced on October 29th the launch of the 16.0-inch laptop "DAIV Z6" from its creator-focused brand, DAIV. Two models are available: "DAIV Z6-I7G50SR-B" and "DAIV Z6-I7G60SR-B," with prices starting from 389,800 yen. Purchases can be made via the Mouse Computer website, direct shops, telephone order hotlines, and corporate sales desks.
The DAIV Z6 is a 16.0-inch laptop featuring a magnesium alloy body, achieving a weight of approximately 1.68kg and a thickness of about 19mm. It is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 255H and either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 Laptop GPU or a GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU, designed to support a wide range of creative tasks from photo and video editing to 3D modeling and CAD.
The display is a 16.0-inch LCD with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio, supporting a wide color gamut of 100% DCI-P3. It applies color profiles created through pre-shipment calibration, aiding in photo and video production where color accuracy is crucial. Furthermore, it supports a maximum brightness of 500 nits and a 240Hz refresh rate, ensuring comfortable previewing and video verification.
The interface selection is also comprehensive, including Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-C, Mini DisplayPort, HDMI, and a full-size SD card reader. It supports Wi-Fi 7 and wired LAN, enabling smooth import of materials and sharing of large data volumes from on-the-go to the production site. The 2-megapixel webcam supports Windows Hello facial authentication and a privacy shutter, making it convenient for online meetings.
