MSI Computer Japan will begin sequential sales of its new gaming monitor model, the "MEG X," from late November onwards. The estimated price is around 302,500 yen. Positioned as the top-tier model in the MEG series, this flagship device integrates stunning visuals, rapid response times, burn-in prevention, and AI gaming assistance, all centered around a QD-OLED panel.

Its most significant feature lies in its display performance, which combines three key elements: an RGB stripe subpixel arrangement, Dark Armor Film, and a 5-layer Tandem OLED. The optimized subpixel arrangement enhances contrast ratio while suppressing color bleeding, making text outlines clearer. Furthermore, the Dark Armor Film, which improves black levels by up to 40%, and the 5-layer Tandem OLED, which boosts brightness by 30% compared to conventional models, are said to achieve both deep blacks and vivid colors.

Gaming features are also extensive. With a 0.03ms (GTG) response time, it's designed to minimize ghosting even in fast-paced visuals. A key advantage is its integrated AI processor, which handles gaming assistance features like AI Vision+ directly on the monitor, reducing the strain on PC resources. Additionally, it features SpectrumBar+, which can synchronize in-game HP gauges with an LED bar at the bottom of the monitor, contributing to improved visibility during gameplay.

Furthermore, it boasts wide color gamut display covering Adobe RGB and DCI-P3 extensively, ΔE≤2 color accuracy thanks to factory calibration, and a Uniform Luminance function that suppresses rapid brightness changes during HDR. MSI OLED Care 3.0 includes features like AI Care Sensor for detecting user absence, Panel Protect, Pixel Shift, Static Image Detection, and Logo Detection, all aimed at reducing the risk of burn-in. The rear features silver-tone aluminum parts, and a dedicated pouch and video cables are also included. To reduce eye strain, it incorporates anti-flicker technology, hardware blue light reduction, and an anti-reflection coating.
