MSI Computer Japan will begin sales of its compact PC for AI workflows, the "PRO MAX EDGE AI+ 11M-008JP," on November 5th. The estimated price is around 818,000 yen. A major feature is its 128GB of unified memory, enabling 120B-class LLMs to run locally, allowing users to leverage AI without transmitting confidential information externally.
Equipped with an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 CPU, its integrated high-performance CPU, GPU, and NPU design supports a wide range of applications, including generative AI, content creation, and gaming. Up to 96GB can be allocated as VRAM, a configuration that supports validation of 120B-class LLMs using quantized models. Furthermore, it comes standard with a 2TB SSD, allowing for comfortable operation while storing multiple models and data.
The chassis boasts a compact 4L design, and with a built-in power supply, cable management is simplified. It also supports up to four display outputs, making it appealing for users who need to simultaneously handle AI chat, data analysis, and document creation. It is also suitable for creative applications such as image generation, video editing, and 3D design, with a wide range of target installations including offices, schools, and research institutions.
