Elecom announced on November 5th that five of its mobile battery products received "Best Product" awards at the Eco Mark Award 2026. Additionally, its environmental impact reduction initiative, titled "'What if' becomes 'everyday' peace of mind: Elecom's challenge for a next-generation power charge ecosystem protecting the Earth and people," was honored with an "Excellence Award." The award-winning product lineup was recognized for successfully combining environmental consideration with portability, notably through the adoption of recycled plastics and packaging primarily composed of paper and cardboard.

The products chosen as Best Products include the "DE-C76-10000" series of mobile batteries with a remaining charge display (10000mAh/22.5W); the "EC-C45" series and "DE-NJ76-10000" series of mobile batteries featuring a remaining charge display and a strap-type cable (10000mAh/22.5W); and the "DE-C46L-10000" series and "EC-C13LBK" compact mobile batteries (10000mAh/20W/C×1+A×1). All of these models are designed with daily carry in mind, offering practical solutions for on-the-go charging needs.

Specifically, the mobile batteries with a remaining charge display boast a palm-sized design, approximately 16mm thick, allowing users to check the battery level in 1% increments via an LED panel. Their 10000mAh large capacity and ability to easily fit into pouches or pockets are also attractive features. The EC-C45 series and DE-NJ76-10000 series further enhance portability with an included strap-type cable. The compact mobile batteries comply with the USB Power Delivery standard, delivering up to 20W output while remaining lightweight at approximately 190g, and are equipped with one USB Type-C port and one USB Type-A port.

Each product utilizes recycled plastics for its casing, demonstrating a commitment to reducing environmental impact. Furthermore, Elecom is actively working to minimize packaging materials, with product packages consisting solely of paper, cardboard, and polybags.

The initiative that earned Elecom the Excellence Award is a next-generation power charge ecosystem that encompasses the entire product lifecycle, from design and manufacturing to post-use collection and recycling. A key feature of this system is its promotion of resource circulation throughout the lifecycle, including the implementation of a QR code on the mobile battery itself, which provides easy access to disposal methods and collection points. Elecom states that it will leverage this award as an opportunity to further advance the widespread adoption of environmentally friendly products and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
