Elecom will release the "DE-C88-10000" series of easy-to-carry 10,000mAh mobile batteries, featuring a strap-type USB Type-C cable, from late September. The price is open (MSRP), and it will be available in two colors: white "DE-C88-10000WH" and black "DE-C88-10000BK".
A key feature is the integrated USB Type-C cable that doubles as a carrying strap. The battery itself boasts a 10,000mAh capacity and a slim design of approximately 16mm thick, making it easy to fit into pouches or small bags. It supports up to 30W output and utilizes USB Power Delivery (PD) and PPS, allowing for efficient charging of smartphones and tablets. Equipped with two USB Type-C ports and one USB-A port, it also supports charging multiple devices simultaneously.
In terms of functionality, it supports "simultaneous charging," allowing both the mobile battery and a smartphone to be charged together, and utilizes pass-through charging to minimize battery degradation. The LED panel displays the remaining charge in 1% increments, simplifying charge management before heading out. The USB-A port also supports low-current mode and "Omakase Charging" (auto-detect charging), making it easy to charge small devices like Bluetooth headsets and earphones.
For safety, it features Thermal Protection for temperature monitoring and control, multiple protection functions, and an internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery capable of approximately 500 charge cycles. With a watt-hour rating of 160Wh or less, it is compliant with airline carry-on regulations and meets the technical standards of Japan's Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Act. Furthermore, it supports charging for Nintendo Switch 2/Nintendo Switch/Nintendo Switch Lite and is a "THINK ECOLOGY" certified product, indicating its environmental consideration.
