Sanwa Supply has launched the '700-BTL064BK' portable battery, featuring a built-in retractable USB Type-C cable, on its direct sales website 'Sanwa Direct'. Priced at 6,345 yen (excluding tax), this product utilizes a semi-solid lithium-ion battery designed to mitigate the risks of heat generation and swelling. It is broadly intended for various uses, from daily charging to travel, business trips, and disaster preparedness.

A key highlight of this product is its ability to combine safety considerations with portability. By adopting a semi-solid lithium-ion battery, which is said to generate less heat and swell less compared to conventional lithium-ion batteries, it offers enhanced safety. In addition to multiple protection functions against overcurrent, short circuit, overcharge, and overdischarge, it also incorporates overheating protection via a temperature detection sensor. Furthermore, it complies with the technical standards of Japan's Electrical Appliances and Materials Safety Act, making it an ideal choice for users who prioritize peace of mind.

The main unit integrates an approximately 70cm retractable USB Type-C cable, allowing users to charge their devices even if they forget to carry a separate cable. It supports USB PD fast charging up to 30W, and it's possible to simultaneously charge two devices, such as a smartphone and earphones, by utilizing both the retractable USB Type-C cable and the USB Type-C port. The battery also supports USB PD-PPS, ensuring efficient charging by dynamically adjusting voltage and current according to the connected device.

With a capacity of 10000mAh, the remaining charge can be precisely monitored via a digital display that shows increments of 1%. Its dimensions are approximately 74mm (W) x 15mm (D) x 137mm (H), and it weighs around 225g. The battery's energy capacity is 37Wh, which falls well within the general airline carry-on limit of 100Wh, making it convenient for both travel and business trips.
