Buffalo announced on November 5th the start of shipments for its 5000mAh semi-solid mobile battery, the "BMPBSA5000 series." It will be sequentially available at electronics retailers nationwide and various e-commerce stores. The series comes in four colors: Ice Blue, Satin Beige, Silky White, and Metallic Black, and is offered at an open price.
The BMPBSA5000 series is a mobile battery that utilizes a highly stable semi-solid electrolyte. Its design structurally minimizes the risk of ignition and smoke emission, while also achieving an ultra-slim body measuring approximately 9.2mm thick and weighing about 122g. Its key feature is its ease of portability for daily commutes, school, or outings.
Buffalo states that it has met stringent quality standards for safe use, having verified not only physical tests such as nail penetration and crushing but also chemical reactions in the event of damage. A practical aspect is the integration of an approximately 23cm strap-style Type-C cable into the main unit, alleviating concerns about forgetting the cable. Furthermore, the slim connector design makes it easy to charge even with a thick smartphone case attached.
With a 5000mAh capacity and a maximum output of 20W, the product is marketed as a compact charging solution ideal for everyday use.
