Elecom has released an A4-compatible flame-retardant gadget case that utilizes fabric cleared by flame-retardancy tests on both its front and back surfaces, allowing users to store gadgets such as mobile batteries and portable fans together. The case is available in gray and priced at 3,480 yen.

A key feature of this product is its use of fabric that has cleared flame-retardancy tests (JIS L 1091 A-2 Method, Class 3) on both its front and back surfaces, with the interior piping also utilizing material that has passed UL-94 V-2. In the unlikely event that stored items ignite, the structure is designed to prevent the fire from spreading easily. Furthermore, by folding and sealing the opening, it is engineered to minimize the leakage of fire and smoke.

The approximate dimensions are W350 x D80 x H270mm, and it weighs approximately 295g. With reference storage dimensions of W310 x D40 x H260mm, it features a gusseted design compatible with A4 files. It can consolidate multiple gadgets, including large-capacity mobile batteries, making it suitable not only for home storage and organization but also as a carrying pouch for commuting or travel.

It's important to note that while flame-retardant materials are used, this is not a non-combustible product. Caution is advised, as charring or deformation may occur if it is directly exposed to strong flames or subjected to prolonged heating.
