Elecom has launched two chair support products designed to alleviate the burden on the lower back and back from prolonged desk work. The products are the back support type "PCAWCHRS02GY" and the lumbar support type "PCAWCHRS03GY", both designed to be used by simply placing them on the seat of an existing chair. The back support type is priced at 7,979 yen, and the lumbar support type at 6,680 yen.
These chair supports are characterized by their ability to easily support posture, targeting individuals who spend long hours sitting for telework, office work, or studying. The back support type features two screw holes (inner and outer) allowing for two-stage width adjustment, enabling users to customize the fit according to their physique. The lumbar support type is structured to reduce pressure on the buttocks with a thick sponge cushion and support the lower back area.
Both models feature a flat seating surface and anti-slip properties, preventing slippage from the chair seat for stable use. The cushions are removable; the back cushion of the back support type can be wiped clean, while the seat cushion is washable. The lumbar support type is also washable, making ease of maintenance another attractive feature. When not in use, they can be folded for compact storage, making them easy to handle even in limited spaces.
Note that these products must be used with chairs that have an appropriately sized seat; using them in an overhang position may cause tipping or injury.
