Yamaha has announced the results of its connectivity verification with Cloudflare WAN. Since February 2026, the RTX1300 and RTX840 have been listed as verified routers (Third-party integration) on Cloudflare's website. Connectivity verification conducted by Rakuten Mobile and SCSK confirmed VPN (IPsec) connections with Cloudflare and validated their behavior in load balancing/Active-Standby configurations.
The verification confirmed VPN (IPsec) connections with Cloudflare, behavior in load balancing/Active-Standby configurations, automatic line switching upon VPN tunnel failure and automatic failback after line recovery, and local breakout from the RTX1300. These tests demonstrated that there were no issues with the aforementioned configurations. This provides a clear outlook for the practical implementation of redundancy and communication control by combining a cloud-based WAN environment with branch office routers.
