First-Ever Potato-Filled Burger! Introducing the "Hokkaido Jaga Pepper Tsukimi"
This year, McDonald's began selling its Tsukimi Family series on September 2, featuring the classic "Tsukimi Burger" and the new "Aburi Gyusukiyaki-fu Tsukimi."
This new product commemorates McDonald's 35th anniversary of the Tsukimi series. It's the first burger in the Tsukimi series to feature potatoes as an ingredient.

It features a domestic egg, steamed and grilled one by one in-store, a 100% beef patty, smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, and a tomato creamy sauce, all sandwiched in a bun.
Unique to this burger are chunky Hokkaido potatoes and a mild egg salad. Japanese umami is added with soy sauce, and a hint of pepper provides a crisp aftertaste, creating a perfect pairing with the beef patty.
'Aburi Gyusukiyaki-fu Tsukimi' Nears Its End
This year's Mid-Autumn Moon is on September 25. This means the second installment is being introduced just in time for the peak Tsukimi season.
The currently available "Tsukimi Burger" and "Cheese Tsukimi" will continue to be sold, along with the "Tsukimi Muffin" (Morning Mac exclusive) and "Cheese Cheese Double Tsukimi" (Yoru Mac exclusive).

The "Aburi Gyusukiyaki-fu Tsukimi", available since September 2, is set to be discontinued.
However, the new "Aburi Gyusukiyaki-fu Tsukimi" is not part of the second lineup, indicating it will largely be replaced. Originally, the "Aburi Gyusukiyaki-fu Tsukimi" was scheduled to end sales earlier than other items, by late September.
If you want to try the "Aburi Gyusukiyaki-fu Tsukimi," now's your chance. And let's look forward to the arrival of the new "Hokkaido Jaga Pepper Tsukimi"!
