On September 30th, Kobayashi Pharmaceutical launched the in-car "RABLISS KO460 Emergency Escape Hammer." This emergency tool integrates a hammer for breaking automotive tempered glass and a cutter for severing seatbelts. It is priced at 1,980 yen.
The grip features an uneven surface, making it easy to hold and apply force. It is a manual tool that requires no power source, and comes with a storage holder that covers the breaking head for safekeeping.
A demonstration video has also been released, showing the tool being used to break glass and cut seatbelts in an actual vehicle. However, it notes that escape may not always be possible depending on the vehicle, accident, or submersion conditions.
