From October 1st to 31st, PayPay will run a campaign targeting users aged 12-25, titled "Get Up to 1000 Points When Users Aged 12-25 Complete Identity Verification." The conditions are to apply for identity verification (eKYC) for the first time via the PayPay app during the campaign period and complete the review by November 30th.
The number of points awarded varies depending on when the user registered for PayPay. Users who have been using PayPay since before September 29, 2026, will receive 500 points, while users who registered for PayPay for the first time on or after September 30, 2026, will receive 1000 points.
The awarded PayPay points can be used for payments and other purposes, but cannot be withdrawn or transferred. Furthermore, it's not enough to just "apply" for identity verification during the campaign period; the review must be completed by November 30th.
