ANA has announced a partial revision to the new services for ANA Super Flyers Card holders, effective April 2028. The airline stated that some ANA Lounge access will now be permitted even if annual spending on ANA Card/ANA Pay is less than 3 million yen.
The company had previously announced a revision to the "ANA Super Flyers Card (SFC)" system this April. Under those changes, effective April 2028, SFC holders whose annual ANA Card/ANA Pay spending was less than 3 million yen would be designated as "SFC LITE." This would downgrade their Star Alliance status to "Star Alliance Silver" and, crucially, revoke their access to ANA Lounges, which had recently become noticeably crowded. This announcement had drawn significant backlash.
This latest revision partially relaxes the rules for ANA Lounge access. For domestic flights, access will now be "available except during peak hours." For international flights, access will be permitted at "ANA Lounges in Haneda, Narita, and Honolulu." Furthermore, ANA plans to introduce a pre-booking system for ANA Lounges used for domestic flights, with further details to be announced by the end of fiscal year 2027.
