Kuroneko Pay Later is a payment service that allows customers to receive products purchased from e-commerce sites first and then pay for them later at convenience stores, post offices, or other locations. For smartphone-based post-payment, multiple payment methods are available, including convenience store payments and bank transfers.
Yamato Transport is investigating the cause of the unauthorized access and the scope of its impact, with the cooperation of a specialized security organization. As of now, the company has not disclosed whether personal information has been leaked, the specific methods used for the unauthorized access, or the number of affected cases.
The timing for service restoration is also undecided, and an announcement will be made once confirmed. The company states that other services are unaffected, and services like Takkyubin (parcel delivery) can be used as usual.
