In Chiba Prefecture, damage from heavy rains occurred in September, following the "Reiwa 8 August Chiba Heavy Rains" in August. Furthermore, affected by Typhoon No. 25, recovery efforts are ongoing throughout the prefecture.
Due to the suspension of out-of-prefecture activities, Chiba-kun's appearance at the "Local Character Carnival in Gunma 2026," scheduled to be held at the Gunma Prefectural Office on September 26 and 27, has also been canceled.
Its special guest appearance at the "Yuru-Verse 2026 Final Voting" will also be postponed. The organizers explained that activities outside the prefecture would be suspended "in consideration of the impact of Typhoon No. 25."
