ASUS Japan will launch five new power supply unit models from its gaming brand "Republic of Gamers (ROG)" on October 30, all equipped with the ROG Equalizer Cable as standard. The lineup includes five models: the 1200W "ROG-THOR-1200P3-GAMING-E" and "ROG-THOR-1200P3-WHITE-GAMING-E," the 1200W "ROG-STRIX-1200P-GAMING-E," and the 1000W "ROG-STRIX-1000P-GAMING-E" and "ROG-STRIX-1000P-WHITE-GAMING-E."
A key highlight of these new models is the inclusion of the ROG Equalizer Cable, designed for stable power delivery to the latest high-end GPUs. Featuring a patented conductive bridge structure, it equalizes power distribution and is engineered to suppress heat generation and power imbalance. It combines highly durable wires supporting up to 17A with flexible, embossed cables that include highly visible two-color indicators, ensuring both aesthetic cable management and enhanced safety.
The higher-end ROG Thor 1200W Platinum III has earned 80 PLUS Platinum and Lambda A++ certifications and displays real-time power consumption on a magnetic OLED display. The display can be repositioned to the left or right, facilitating easy fan installation in either an upward or downward orientation. Furthermore, by adopting GaN MOSFETs, it boasts up to a 30% improvement in power efficiency compared to conventional models, and its optimized internal layout also aims to enhance heat dissipation performance.

The ROG Strix 1200W Platinum and ROG Strix 1000W Platinum series feature high efficiency achieved through GaN MOSFETs, along with low-ESR Japanese capacitors, ROG heatsinks, and dual ball bearing fans. With 0dB technology, they also prioritize quiet operation under light loads, making them suitable for DIY PC users who want to minimize noise during gaming.
