TOKYO Gaming-PC STREET 9 Concludes with Great Success!

On October 10th, ASCII hosted the event "TOKYO Gaming-PC STREET 9 in LIFORK AKIHABARA II" in Akihabara.

This event, also known as GPS, is held to allow attendees to experience the latest trending gaming gadgets firsthand and ask questions directly to ASCII editors. This marks the 9th installment of the event.

Just look at this impressive array of gaming gadgets!

Keyboards and mice, all lined up!

This time, we gathered a selection of noteworthy gaming gadgets that you'll want to buy this autumn. From classic gaming keyboards and mice to increasingly popular left-hand devices, AI glasses, and gaming displays, a variety of unique products were on display.

If I may say so myself, it's rare to find a place where you can try out such a large number of gaming gadgets all at once. We heard comments from attendees like, "It felt smaller than it looked in photos," and "It was easier to use than I expected," which reaffirmed my belief that it's crucial to try expensive purchases before you buy them.

By the way, our GPS series features an article summarizing the editorial team's recommended points for all the products exhibited this time, so please check that out as well.

The Garapon Lottery with an Unbelievably High Win Rate for Gaming Gadgets

Entry via the Gadget Dream Garapon!

Well then, this GPS event was also bustling with activity. Attendees first challenged the customary Gadget Dream Garapon to gain entry. This Garapon has an unbelievably high win rate! Normally, department store or supermarket lotteries don't have such high chances of winning, do they? Usually, you get pocket tissues or a ¥100 discount coupon, something like that.

But this Garapon is different. You win a lot! Frequently, we'd hear "Karan! (sound of a bell) Congratulations!" from the entrance, and even the staff would think, "Oh... someone won again." To everyone who successfully won a great gadget, please make good use of it!

Due to the overwhelming success, entry was temporarily restricted.

The Customary Stage Event, Featuring Guest Influencers, Was Also a Great Success!

This time, we invited guest influencers and held four mini-stage sessions.

By the way, choosing gadgets can be quite perplexing, can't it? There are so many types, and you don't know if it suits you until you try it. It's often a significant purchase, making it difficult to choose.

It's reputed that you can learn about gadgets in an enjoyable way.

So, this time, we invited five guest influencers—Izumo-san, Teinei na Kurashi Gadget-san, Uranusu Studio-san, Game Izonsho Taipi-san, and Craft Days-san—to hold mini-stage sessions.

The content varied, from how to choose gadgets to building a streaming environment. We believe we were able to provide useful information for gamers, streamers, and those looking to try PC gaming or streaming.

And so, the 9th installment of ASCII's event series, TOKYO Gaming-PC STREET 9, concluded with great success.

Just between us, rumors are circulating that preparations for the next event have already begun. Such whispers can be heard (or not heard) within the company...

We will return to Akihabara with even more refined exhibits and plans. See you again in Akihabara!

The stage sessions can also be viewed in archive videos, so if you couldn't attend, please be sure to check them out!
