Acer Japan has launched four models of the "Swift Air 14 (SFA14-I31)" as a new addition to its thin and lightweight "Swift" series of laptops. This 14-inch mobile PC balances portability, stylish design, and performance options tailored to various uses.
The Swift Air 14 is a thin and lightweight model featuring an all-aluminum body, weighing approximately 1.18kg and measuring about 12.99mm thin. Its cover, finished with CNC diamond-cut processing, enhances its premium feel, and a hinge that opens up to 180° allows for flexible use on a desk or for screen sharing. While the primary color is Sage Green, Pink, Blue, and Purple are also scheduled to be added later.
In terms of performance, four configurations are available, combining either an Intel Core 3 Processor 304 or an Intel Core 5 Processor 320 with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X memory. All models come with 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage, offering configurations that are easy to choose for daily tasks such as web browsing, email, document creation, online meetings, and video viewing. They also feature a built-in NPU for AI processing, "Intel AI Boost," with Core 3 models supporting up to 15 TOPS and Core 5 models supporting up to 16 TOPS.
The display is a 14-inch WUXGA (1920×1200) IPS panel, securing a wide viewing area with its 16:10 aspect ratio. Its 120Hz high refresh rate ensures smooth scrolling, and sRGB 100% coverage allows for vivid display of photos and videos. Furthermore, it is equipped with a 70Wh battery, boasting approximately 12 hours of operation. It features two USB4 Type-C ports, supporting Thunderbolt 4, USB Power Delivery, and video output, and also includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, a Full HD IR webcam, four speakers, DTS Ultra, and AcerSense. This makes it a versatile model suitable for everything from daily tasks to entertainment.
