Lawson has been rolling out a total of 13 products since September 21st and 22nd, themed around "Too Focused!" (Itten Toppa Sugi!) and "Too Luxurious!" (Zeitaku Sugi!). The "Too Focused!" line offers products with a single ingredient, reducing prices by up to 50% compared to bento boxes of the same size. In contrast, the "Too Luxurious!" line features products with a focus on ingredient quality and quantity. Starting today, September 28th, the second week's products are being released, with new items from the "Too Luxurious!" series launching sequentially.

This is the classic "Satisfying Rich Pork Ramen" topped with three kinds of meat: pork belly chashu, chicken chashu, and roasted pork. It's described as a hearty bowl packed with meat.

A pescatore dish topped with shrimp, squid, and clams. It's finished with a savory tomato sauce infused with oyster sauce and garlic, highlighting the rich umami of the seafood.

Butter cream made with Hokkaido fermented butter and rum raisins are sandwiched between moist, crumbly biscuits. Contains less than 1% alcohol.

Extreme Luxury and Simplicity

This project is designed with "メリハリ消費" (merihari shohi) in mind, a consumption style that balances saving money with splurging on oneself as a reward. Both the "Too Luxurious!" and "Too Focused!" concepts are extreme and eye-catching. In the first week, items like the "Bodakko Dake" bento, which contained only shredded salmon, garnered significant attention. Lawson's aggressive lineup is likely to be a hot topic again this week.
