NEC Personal Computers will launch new products in its "LAVIE" series starting October 29, as 2026 autumn/winter models for consumer PCs and tablets. The lineup includes a total of five models: the mobile PCs "LAVIE X14," "LAVIE S13," and "LAVIE N13," along with the Android tablets "LAVIE Tab T12N" and "LAVIE Tab T8." Prices are open, and these products will also be available on NEC Direct, where customers can choose customizable models to suit their specific needs and usage styles.
The flagship "LAVIE X14" is a 14-inch Copilot+ PC featuring a lightweight body of approximately 1,021g and a 99.9Wh battery. It boasts an impressive long battery life of approximately 30.1 hours during video playback and about 51.0 hours during idle, and supports rapid charging that provides roughly a day's use with just a 30-minute charge. Furthermore, it is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 355, an NPU with up to 49 TOPS, Wi-Fi 7, and facial recognition, offering a configuration that balances advanced AI utilization with superior mobility.
The "LAVIE S13" is a 13.3-inch Copilot+ PC designed with Generation Z in mind, featuring a highly portable design at approximately 1,088g and about 12.9mm thin. It comes in three colors: Platinum Silver, Moon Black, and Icy Purple, and supports interchangeable cases chosen from over 1,500 varieties. It features a touch-enabled WUXGA LCD, a 76.1Wh battery, facial recognition, and Wi-Fi 7, characterized by its practicality for student life and daily use. Additionally, it includes shortcut keys for LAVIE AI Plus and "Tsunagaru! LAVIE" (Connect! LAVIE), facilitating seamless smartphone integration.
Emphasizing practicality, the "LAVIE N13" is a mobile notebook equipped with a 13.3-inch touch-enabled display, an Intel Core 5 Processor 320, 16GB of memory, and approximately 256GB SSD. Weighing approximately 1,177g and about 15mm thin, it also ensures robustness, having cleared MIL-STD compliant tests. Available in two colors, Light Silver and Sage Green, it supports LAVIE AI Plus for AI consultation when users encounter issues, and LAVIE AI Plus Hint for usage suggestions, making it user-friendly even for those unfamiliar with PCs.
For tablets, NEC offers the 12.1-inch "LAVIE Tab T12N" and the 8.7-inch "LAVIE Tab T8." The "LAVIE Tab T12N" comes standard with a digital pen and a keyboard cover with a stand, and supports a 2,560×1,600-dot 2.5K LCD, 90Hz refresh rate, Dolby Atmos, LDAC, and Hi-Res Audio. The "LAVIE Tab T8" features a lightweight body of approximately 320g and approximately 12 hours of web browsing battery life, making it suitable for video viewing, e-books, and on-the-go use.
