MSI will host the "MSI Custom PC Championship 2026 ~The Third Ultimate Showdown~," an event to showcase PC assembly skills, on November 21st at B1 HALL, Belle Salle Akihabara. Those wishing to participate can apply via the entry form from October 26th until 23:59 on November 8th. If the number of applicants exceeds the capacity, participants will be selected by lottery.

In this event, participants will assemble a PC within a time limit and be scored on four criteria: speed, wiring aesthetics, completeness, and passion for PC building. The competition time is 90 minutes, and rules include using only screwdrivers provided by the organizer, only SMZ-01R thermal paste (provided by the organizer), and a maximum of 15 cable ties (provided by the organizer). For completeness, issues such as insufficient power cable insertion, fan malfunction, and ARGB lighting defects will result in point deductions, meaning not only appearance but also practical functionality will be judged.

On the day of the event, doors open and registration begins at 1:30 PM, participants reassemble at 2:30 PM, and the assembly competition starts at 3:15 PM. Judging by the panel will commence at 4:45 PM, with the awards ceremony scheduled for 5:00 PM. Furthermore, the event will feature a PC assembly battle between "MSI GIRLS VS Liquid Nitrogen Ojisan" and a rock-paper-scissors tournament, offering both competitive and entertainment aspects.

Novelty gifts will be prepared for visitors who complete a survey, and a giveaway campaign will also be held on MSI's official X (formerly Twitter) during the campaign period. Additionally, those who purchase eligible products at participating Akihabara stores between November 1st and November 21st and present their receipt at the venue can participate in a Gara-pon drawing.
