Sanwa Supply has launched the "FA-TMAC5," a dust cover exclusively designed for the Apple Magic Keyboard (Japanese layout). Priced at ¥2,530, its key feature is a specialized design that protects the keyboard from dust, dirt, and spills, while also supporting Touch ID.
The FA-TMAC5 is a thin cover made from T-polyurethane material, approximately 0.25mm thick. It balances softness and durability, designed to fit the Magic Keyboard perfectly. With its transparent finish, it preserves the keyboard's original design and character visibility, while maintaining a soft touch and natural typing feel.
In terms of practicality, it not only prevents dust and dirt from entering but also helps protect against liquid spills like coffee. Furthermore, a dedicated opening for the Touch ID sensor allows for fingerprint authentication even with the cover attached. Another appealing feature is its antibacterial processing and water-washable design, allowing it to be cleaned with a neutral detergent for hygienic use.
