Sanwa Supply has launched the "TAP-AC3WN2-FPS" and "TAP-TSH3 series" fire prevention power strips, which feature built-in fire extinguishing agent sheets. The direct-plug type TAP-AC3WN2-FPS is priced at 968 yen, while the cable-type TAP-TSH3 series ranges from 1,980 yen to 3,630 yen. Designed to suppress initial fires in the unlikely event of ignition inside the tap, these products enhance safety measures around power outlets in homes and offices.

The biggest feature of these products is that the fire extinguishing agent sheet activates in response to temperature increases inside the tap, suppressing flames internally. They are equipped with insulating caps effective against tracking fires, and the TAP-TSH3 series also features shutters to prevent dust and foreign objects from entering. Furthermore, they are certified as "Disaster Prevention Recommended Products" by the Disaster Prevention Safety Association and comply with PSE standards, clearly demonstrating their commitment to safety.

The lineup consists of a total of five types: the TAP-AC3WN2-FPS, which plugs directly into an outlet and provides three outlets, and the TAP-TSH31N2-FPS, TAP-TSH32N2-FPS, TAP-TSH33N2-FPS, and TAP-TSH35N2-FPS, which are available with cable lengths of 1m, 2m, 3m, and 5m. The TAP-TSH3 series features a compact design that doesn't take up much space and adopts a 180-degree rotating swing plug, making it easy to manage depending on the installation location. While sizes vary depending on the application, all models are designed for easy handling even in confined spaces.
