ASUS Japan will release five new models of its popular existing power supply units from its gaming brand "Republic of Gamers (ROG)" starting October 30th, now standard-equipped with the "ROG Equalizer Cable." The lineup includes the 1200W models "ROG-THOR-1200P3-GAMING-E" and "ROG-THOR-1200P3-WHITE-GAMING-E," as well as the 1200W/1000W configurations "ROG-STRIX-1200P-GAMING-E," "ROG-STRIX-1000P-GAMING-E," and "ROG-STRIX-1000P-WHITE-GAMING-E." Prices are ¥88,980 for the ROG-THOR-1200P3-WHITE-GAMING-E, ¥86,980 for the ROG-THOR-1200P3-GAMING-E, ¥52,980 for the ROG-STRIX-1200P-GAMING-E, ¥48,980 for the ROG-STRIX-1000P-GAMING-WHITE-E, and ¥46,980 for the ROG-STRIX-1000P-GAMING-E.

A key highlight is the adoption of the "ROG Equalizer Cable," designed with the latest high-end GPU environments in mind. Its patented conductive bridge structure equalizes power, suppressing heat generation and power imbalances. Combining highly durable wires supporting up to 17A with flexible, embossed cables featuring easy-to-see two-color indicators, it achieves both stable power delivery and ease of wiring. The Thor series also features a magnetic OLED display that shows real-time power consumption, and its fans can be reoriented left or right depending on the desired airflow direction.

The ROG Thor 1200W Platinum III series boasts 80 PLUS Platinum and Lambda A++ certifications, combining high levels of power efficiency and quiet operation. Furthermore, by adopting GaN MOSFETs, it achieves up to 30% higher power efficiency compared to conventional designs, leading to optimized internal layouts and improved heat dissipation. The ROG Strix series also features 80 PLUS Platinum certification and GaN MOSFETs, combining low-ESR Japanese capacitors, ROG heatsinks, dual ball bearing fans, and 0dB technology to achieve both effective cooling under high loads and silent operation.
