MSI Computer Japan will begin sequential sales of a new model in its 'Raider' series of gaming laptops, the 'Raider-16-HX-B2WH-2689JP', starting October 22. The price is open. It features an Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 275HX CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU, a high-end configuration combining a 24-core CPU with a high-performance GPU.
The 16-inch WQXGA (2,560×1,600) display supports a 240Hz refresh rate, designed to provide smooth visuals even in fast-paced games like FPS and battle royale titles. Furthermore, it supports a wide color gamut equivalent to DCI-P3, making it suitable not only for gaming but also for creative tasks such as video editing and other work where color reproduction is critical. Equipped with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB SSD as standard, it also supports multitasking, such as simultaneous use of game play and streaming software.
Expandability is also a key feature. It is equipped with two Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, allowing for flexible high-speed data transfer, video output, and peripheral connections. It also includes 2.5Gbps wired LAN, Wi-Fi 7, and USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, making it easy to build environments ranging from online gaming setups to desktop-like multi-display configurations.
This model is not just a high-performance laptop, but rather a product aimed at users who want to consolidate a wide range of uses, such as gaming, streaming, video editing, and image generation, into a single device.
