Unitcom began sales of its "Thin, Lightweight 15-inch Laptop with High-Performance Graphics" under the iiyama PC brand on September 25. These models are available at PC Kobo and Goodwill stores, as well as through the official online store, and are BTO-compatible, allowing for configuration changes to suit various applications. Starting at 384,800 yen, this 15.3-inch laptop is designed for creators and gamers, offering an excellent balance of portability and high performance.
The laptop is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 356H, which also supports AI processing, and offers a choice between an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU or an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU. Despite its thin chassis, it boasts a minimum thickness of approximately 15.9mm and weighs around 1.54kg, making it highly portable for creative work and gaming on the go. Inside, a vapor chamber cooling mechanism and two silent fans are integrated to ensure stable performance even during demanding tasks.
The display features a 15.3-inch OLED panel, offering WQXGA (2560x1600 dots) high resolution, a wide DCI-P3 100% color gamut, a 165Hz refresh rate, and a response time of less than 1ms. This configuration promises smooth visuals not only for video production and photo editing, where deep blacks and high contrast are crucial, but also for fast-paced gaming. Additionally, a dedicated burn-in prevention settings app is included, enhancing user confidence during extended use.
As examples, the "LEVEL-15WX161-U7-RKDX" model, equipped with an RTX 5060 Laptop GPU, is priced at 384,800 yen, while the "LEVEL-15WR174-U7-TKDX" model, featuring an RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, costs 414,800 yen. Both configurations include Windows 11 Home [DSP version], 16GB of memory, and a 1TB NVMe-compatible M.2 SSD, with further detailed customization available through BTO.
