Saizeriya to Implement Average 6% Price Hike from October 29th – Gratitude for Previous Price Stability

On October 29th, Saizeriya will implement an average 6% price revision across its entire menu. It's worth noting that 24 select stores located near leisure facilities and in some urban areas will see an average 10% price increase. Conversely, prices for 'Fresh Wine,' 'Lunch,' and 'Morning-exclusive menus' will remain unchanged.

The official announcement conveys the atmosphere of a difficult decision.

Amidst recent rising inflation, Saizeriya has maintained its prices without significant increases. For this reason, when the price revision was announced on October 14th, it came as a widespread surprise.

According to the official announcement, with raw material prices and energy costs continuing to climb, Saizeriya stated that it 'can no longer absorb ingredient shortages and rising costs,' and is therefore implementing the price revision to maintain product quality and ensure stable supply.

Following the price hike announcement, voices of regret over the increase and appreciation for Saizeriya's previous price stability were seen on social media. 'Thank you for holding out until now. Even with the price increase, the 'Milano-style Doria' at 320 yen is still quite cheap in this day and age, isn't it!?' (By Nabeko)
