Unitcom is set to begin sequential sales of the PC Kobo 'Select' series "LCD Monitor Arm" from October 23rd, available on the PC Kobo WEB online store and at PC Kobo and Goodwill stores nationwide. Priced at 5,980 yen, two models are available: UNI-ARM08GR and UNI-ARM08WH. A key feature is its design, which allows for easy adjustment of the monitor's position with light force, making it a notable peripheral device designed with practicality in mind.
The "LCD Monitor Arm" is a single monitor arm compatible with 17-35 inch monitors weighing 2-9 kg. It supports both clamp and grommet mounting methods and features a 4-axis design with an aluminum chassis. With support for up/down tilt, left/right pan, and pivot rotation, it allows for precise adjustment of screen orientation and height, enabling flexible settings tailored to your work environment and eye level.
Furthermore, the inclusion of a hand-turn knob, which eliminates the need for tools to adjust arm stiffness, further enhances usability. It also features a tension gauge for fine-tuning the load capacity according to the monitor's weight, making it easy to secure at any desired angle with minimal effort. It supports desk thicknesses of 20-60mm and VESA standards of 100x100mm and 75x75mm, and is constructed from a combination of plastic, aluminum, and steel.
Sales will be conducted via PC Kobo's WEB online store and nationwide retail locations, with color options of gray (UNI-ARM08GR) and white (UNI-ARM08WH). PC Kobo offers a range of original and 'Select' products, including peripherals and gaming desks, and this new product is positioned within that utility-oriented lineup, addressing the "it would be nice to have" demand.
