
High-protein frozen bento expands its sales area!
Seven-Eleven will sequentially launch two items from its "GYMMESHI" (Gym Meal) frozen bento series starting today, September 22nd, at select stores in Tokyo, Aichi, Osaka, Hyogo, and Fukuoka prefectures.
Seven-Eleven's "GYMMESHI" Sales Area Expands to ~6,500 Stores
The "GYMMESHI" series is a line of frozen bentos developed in collaboration with the Japan Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation (JBBF).
Previously available in Tokyo, Chiba, Saitama, and Kanagawa prefectures since July, the sales area will now expand to approximately 6,500 select stores across Tokyo, Aichi, Osaka, Hyogo, and Fukuoka prefectures.
The recipes are supervised by the JBBF Japan Men's Bodybuilding Championship Champion and a Bikini Fitness World Champion. The "Chicken Jambalaya" is designed to provide 47.3g of protein, while the "Bolognese Short Pasta" offers 30.5g.

This jambalaya features chicken breast and brown rice, seasoned with seven types of spices and chicken broth. The chicken breast is said to be prepared using a unique low-temperature cooking method, ensuring a moist texture even after microwave heating.
Per serving (290g): 409kcal, 47.3g protein, 6.4g fat, 42.1g carbohydrates.

This Bolognese short pasta uses lean cuts of beef, such as inner and outer thigh, combined with a demi-glace sauce simmered for three days.
Per serving (270g): 393kcal, 30.5g protein, 8.0g fat, 52.7g carbohydrates.
