ASUS Japan has announced the ROG Gladius IV Ace lightweight gaming mouse and the ROG Raikiri II Pro PC controller, both from its Republic of Gamers (ROG) gaming brand. Set to release on October 30th, this product lineup is designed for competitive players, offering high precision, low latency, and extensive customization. The ROG Gladius IV Ace is a lightweight mouse with adjustable weight via included weights, while the ROG Raikiri II Pro is positioned as a high-end controller featuring TMR joysticks and a full-color display.
The ROG Gladius IV Ace adopts a right-handed ergonomic shape based on sports science, with a body weight of just 56g. By combining the included 3g, 5g, and 7g weights, its weight balance can be adjusted in seven ways, up to 71g. In terms of connectivity, it supports a maximum polling rate of 8,000Hz even during 2.4GHz wireless operation, thanks to ROG SpeedNova 8K Gen II. The sensor is the ROG AimPoint Pro 65K, offering up to 65,000 DPI.
The ROG Raikiri II Pro features hot-swappable TMR joysticks, designed to be highly resistant to wear and accurately reflect even subtle inputs. When connected to a PC, it supports a maximum polling rate of 8,000Hz via both wired and 2.4GHz wireless connections, making it suitable for gameplay where responsiveness is crucial. Furthermore, settings can be changed and profiles switched using the full-color display on the top of the controller, and it supports up to 79 hours of battery life. Equipped with detachable rear buttons and dual-mode triggers, it allows for fine-tuning of the control feel.
Both products are designed with ROG's competitive gaming philosophy at the forefront. The mouse emphasizes lightness and precise operation, while the controller prioritizes input responsiveness and expandability. The ROG Gladius IV Ace will be available in two colors, black and white, and the ROG Raikiri II Pro will be released as a PC controller.
