Plaud One, an eSIM-equipped AI requiring no communication contract, makes its Japan debut, offering support from meeting recording to document creation

On October 21st, PLAUD held a "Plaud New Product & Latest AI Feature Experience Presentation" at Comore Yotsuya Tower Conference in Yotsuya, Tokyo. This event marked the Japan debut for media of the conversational wearable AI device "Plaud One" and the card-type AI voice recorder "Plaud Note Pro Flow Edition." Plaud One is slated for release within 2026, while Plaud Note Pro Flow Edition will launch on October 29th. The Plaud Note Pro Flow Edition is priced at 29,700 yen, and the Plaud One at 44,000 yen.

A key feature of Plaud One is its built-in eSIM (4G LTE), enabling constant connectivity as a standalone device without requiring a separate communication contract. Comprising earbuds and a charging case, it can record calls, online meetings, and in-person business negotiations all with a single unit. Designed to streamline tasks from organizing meeting content to drafting follow-up documents simply by long-pressing the AI button and issuing voice commands, this product prominently emphasizes AI agent-powered business support.

The Plaud Note Pro Flow Edition is a card-type AI voice recorder that automates the entire process from data transfer after recording to transcription and summary generation. Equipped with four Super Mics, it reportedly supports audio recording from up to 5 meters away. It automatically transfers data simply by bringing a smartphone close, and with automatic summarization configured in the app, users can review organized content immediately after meetings or business negotiations. It will be available in two colors: black and silver.

The new generation "Plaud Intelligence" was also unveiled, outlining a concept for business support across four stages: recording, understanding, executing, and evolving conversations. This includes "Artifacts" for generating materials in formats like PowerPoint or PDF, "Connectors" for integration with services such as Google Calendar, Slack, and Notion, "Skills" that consolidate business processes, and "Routines" that execute automatically based on predefined conditions. For purchasing, Plaud One began accepting pre-registrations on October 21st. The Plaud Note Pro Flow Edition will be available on the official website, Amazon's official sales page, Rakuten Ichiba's official sales page, as well as at major retailers like Edion, Bic Camera, Yamada Denki, and Yodobashi Camera.
