The 300 yen "Udon Bento"!

Marugame Seimen will begin selling the "Otegaru Udon Bento" (Easy Udon Bento to Enjoy with Condiments and Toppings) as a takeout product starting today, October 6th. Prices start from 300 yen for one serving.

No Toppings!? The 300 Yen "Marugame Udon Bento"

A new product joining the takeout "Marugame Udon Bento" series.

  • Easy Udon Bento to Enjoy with Condiments and Toppings: 1 serving 300 yen, 2 servings 500 yen

It's a simple offering of udon served with bukkake dashi (pouring dashi).

You can freely combine 8 types of free condiments available in-store, such as tempura bits (tenkasu), green onions (aonegi), and wakame seaweed. Additionally, for an extra charge, you can add your favorite tempura and other toppings.

Udon Bento Now Available from 300 Yen

Marugame Seimen's "Udon Bento" can be easily enjoyed at home or on the go by pouring the dashi from a separate pouch. Until now, they offered products in the 400 yen and 500 yen range, but with the introduction of the "Otegaru Udon Bento," it is now available from 300 yen.

The new item is based on noodles and dashi, offering a simplicity akin to "su-udon" (plain udon). In these days of rising prices, isn't this simplicity and this price exactly what people have been looking for? It might just become a savior for pre-payday lunches (?!).

Also, starting today, Marugame Seimen's "Umami Spicy Pork Tsukemen Udon," which offers the same price for up to 3 servings, will become a regular menu item!
