On October 1, SoftCreate announced the addition of "CrowdStrike Falcon," "Cato SASE Platform," and "Zscaler Platforms" to the monitoring scope of its SOC service, "Security FREE." This expansion broadens the monitoring coverage from endpoints to network and cloud access domains, offering centralized support for the operation of multiple security products.
Security FREE is an SOC service that monitors alerts 24/7, assisting with threat assessment, escalation, and inquiry handling. With this expansion, it can now collectively manage endpoint protection via CrowdStrike Falcon, network protection via Cato SASE Platform, and cloud access protection via Zscaler Platforms. The aim is to consolidate management screens and inquiry points, which tend to be fragmented across different products, thereby reducing operational burden.
A key feature is that analysts can cross-reference logs from multiple domains, using correlation analysis to identify attack indicators and scope of impact that might be difficult to discern with a single product. In the event of a critical incident, in addition to phone escalation, Security FREE also performs initial responses such as device isolation and access control within the capabilities of the respective products. Furthermore, it provides insights into monitored alerts, offers up to five normalcy investigations per month, and up to five security consultations per month. Monthly reports and monthly briefings are available as optional services.
In recent years, an increasing number of companies are combining multiple security products like EDR and SASE, leading to challenges in operational complexity. Through Security FREE, SoftCreate aims to streamline monitoring, analysis, and inquiry handling into a one-stop service, thereby supporting the efficiency of daily operations and enhancing incident response capabilities.
