On September 24, mobile battery sharing service "CHARGESPOT" issued a warning after confirming instances where promotional materials displayed at some of its battery stands were modified by third parties and images of these modifications were posted on social media.

The promotional materials feature timelesz, an 8-member group serving as CHARGESPOT's commercial characters. The promotion with timelesz began in October 2025, involving commercials and advertisements. In 2026, CHARGESPOT also rolled out specially wrapped battery stands featuring the members' visuals nationwide.
CHARGESPOT explicitly denied any involvement or authorization for the confirmed modifications, stating they were not carried out by the company.
Furthermore, CHARGESPOT stated that modifying the displayed promotional materials could violate laws such as property damage and constitutes an act that damages the reputation of the performers and related companies, urging proper handling of the materials.
Regarding timelesz, member Shuto Inomata was arrested by the Metropolitan Police Department on September 19 on suspicion of assault for injuring an acquaintance. On social media, modified photos of promotional materials featuring Inomata have also been observed. However, CHARGESPOT's current statement does not elaborate on the details of the modifications or their connection to the arrest.
