Denon will hold the pop-up event "MEET RECORDS, MEET DENON." for two days on October 17th and 18th at LIGHT BOX ATELIER in Omotesando. Admission is free.

This event offers an opportunity to experience the charm of records and Denon's sound. The venue will not only feature Denon's current models but also, as a brand archive exhibition, a wide array of successive analog players that have graced Denon's history for over 110 years.

Visitors can enjoy diverse content, including a listening experience where they can drop the needle onto a record themselves, and a premium Hi-Fi sound listening experience with Denon's flagship models. Beyond just seeing, the event allows attendees to touch records, listen to the sound, and enjoy the allure of analog records and the world of Denon through all five senses.

The day before the event, a reception was also held, inviting Denon staff and media representatives.

At the venue, fashion model and talent Saya Ichikawa, who was in charge of record curation for the event, also appeared on stage. Using a high-end system centered around Denon players and amplifiers, she played two records while introducing their highlights.

Additionally, visitors can see up close the <Nipponophone No. 35>, the first domestically produced phonograph from the Nippon Columbia era, which is usually displayed at the headquarters of D&M Holdings (which operates the Denon brand). At the reception, attendees were even able to enjoy its distinctive sound.

Winding the spring to play a song. The sound had a retro tone yet was powerful.

Dropping the needle onto a record and slowly listening to the music. Such moments can make your usual relaxation or time spent with someone a little more special.

The aim of "MEET RECORDS, MEET DENON." is to make Denon feel more familiar, using "time with records" as an entry point. Of course, people who regularly enjoy records are welcome, but those who have never touched a record player before are also highly encouraged to attend, so if you're interested, why not pay a visit?

A "present campaign" exclusive to visitors will also be held at the venue.

In the "Denon Lottery," a raffle you can enter by following Denon's official SNS accounts "@DenonJP" (Instagram / X), if you win, you can get event-exclusive goods such as a "Denon Original Record Tote Bag" or a "Denon Original Mug Cup." Furthermore, by following "@DenonJP" and posting about the event or your experiences with a specified hashtag on your Instagram feed or X, you'll be entered into a drawing to win Denon products.
