Elecom announced that it received awards for six product series at the 2026 Good Design Awards. The award-winning lineup includes the Mobile Battery with Haptic Feedback, NESTOUT Carbon Monoxide Alarm, Clip-type AC Charger, EGG MOUSE, Masamune Shirow Reissue Design Mouse, and the ZEROSHOCK Smartphone Accessory Series.
Of particular note is the Mobile Battery with Haptic Feedback, which was selected for the "Good Design Best 100." It adopts an inclusive design born from co-creation with visually impaired individuals, and notifies users of battery level and charging status through vibrations from the device itself. The positions of buttons and USB ports are also designed to be discernible by touch, making intuitive operation possible without looking at the device.
The NESTOUT Carbon Monoxide Alarm is an outdoor product that detects carbon monoxide originating from sources like charcoal grills, stoves, and generators, and alerts users with an alarm. Equipped with a Japanese-made sensor, it is designed to help reduce the risk of poisoning in tents, tarps, and vehicles. The Clip-type AC Charger features a mechanism that allows it to be clamped and secured to desks or other surfaces, and is equipped with two USB Type-C ports and one USB-A port, enabling simultaneous charging of up to three devices. It is also easy to use for telework or homework at a dining table.
The EGG MOUSE is a silent mouse that leverages an egg-like roundness and supports interchangeable shells. Its compact size fits in the palm of your hand, and its symmetrical shape, which is suitable for both left and right-handed users, is also appealing. The Masamune Shirow Reissue Design Mouse is a reissue product based on the 2002 "M.A.P.P." project, reconfigured without significantly altering its original appearance, and now supports Bluetooth wireless connectivity. Furthermore, the ZEROSHOCK Smartphone Accessory Series offers smartphone cases, card case stands, shoulder straps, hand straps, and smartphone rings, enhancing usability while mitigating concerns about impact.
