MSI Computer Japan will launch its new business-oriented mobile monitor model, the "PRO MP161E6T," on October 1st. The price is 27,300 yen. This model features a slim and lightweight 15.6-inch Full HD body, equipped with 10-point multi-touch, USB Type-C for both power delivery and video input, and a 360° rotating stand, among other features. It is designed for a wide range of uses, from on-the-go scenarios to reception desks and retail stores.
A major feature of the "PRO MP161E6T" is its 10-point multi-touch support, enabling intuitive operation with fingertips. Its design makes it easy to use for presentations, reception duties, and on-site work that leverages touch operations. Since the touch function is enabled when connected via USB Type-C to a PC with a compatible OS, users need to confirm their operating environment in advance.
The main unit features a non-glare panel, which helps minimize visible fingerprints after use. Additionally, it includes anti-flicker and blue light reduction technologies to help reduce eye strain. The Eye-Q Check function allows users to assess their eye fatigue across three metrics, making it easier to determine when to take a break. Dimensions are approximately 357mm (W) x 23mm (D) x 211mm (H), and it weighs approximately 0.9kg.
Regarding connectivity, the convenience of handling both video input and power supply with a single USB Type-C cable is a highlight. An L-shaped cable is included, which helps reduce stress on the port while maintaining a clean appearance.
