Toda Corporation announced on October 7 that some registered information of its business partners and personal information of its employees were leaked externally due to unauthorized access from an external source.

The leaked information includes up to 7,200 email addresses of business partner contacts and up to 6,000 pieces of transaction data, in addition to the names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and departments of 4,778 employees. As of now, there has been no confirmation that the leaked information has been publicly disclosed to an unspecified number of people or that it has been misused.

As of October 7, Toda Corporation has completed its report to the Personal Information Protection Commission. The company is currently collaborating with external specialized organizations to identify the full scope of the damage and the intrusion route. Individuals affected by the confirmed leak will be contacted individually in due course.

Furthermore, since October 5, issues have been occurring on the company's web services for business partners, affecting systems such as the progress billing system and the partner company user management system. The company has not clarified the relationship between these issues and the unauthorized access.
