Yamaha will host a free online event on October 15 titled "Transforming Office Use of FLET'S Hikari Cross! In-depth Explanation of RTX1300's Hikari Denwa Adapter Mode Function" via Zoom webinar. The theme of this event is the newly implemented "Hikari Denwa Adapter Mode" in the RTX1300. When utilizing Hikari Denwa with FLET'S Hikari Cross, it's typically necessary to position an OGW (Office Gateway) or HGW (Home Gateway) upstream of the router. This often leads to terminal processing limits becoming a bottleneck for office use. The RTX1300, however, can terminate the optical line while simultaneously proxying Hikari Denwa's SIP communication to the OGW/HGW, a key feature that significantly enhances configuration flexibility.
The webinar is primarily aimed at companies considering the adoption of FLET'S Hikari Cross, personnel involved in proposing such solutions, and users experiencing issues with insufficient OGW/HGW processing capacity. It will delve into current challenges and their solutions. Furthermore, the session will clarify why the high speed of 10G lines cannot be fully leveraged in office environments, explain the operation of the "Hikari Denwa Adapter Mode," and outline its usage conditions.
