Elecom has launched the WRC-X3000GS4-BC, a Wi-Fi 6 compatible router optimized for CATV internet services. It has an open price. By pre-configuring the initial setting for internet line identification to 'DHCP', it's designed for easy connection simply by plugging in a cable, and supports Gigabit communication for both WAN and LAN.

The WRC-X3000GS4-BC is a Wi-Fi 6 router that supports wireless communication at up to 2,402Mbps on the 5GHz band and up to 574Mbps on the 2.4GHz band. It features key Wi-Fi 6 technologies such as OFDMA, 1024QAM, MU-MIMO, and TWT, designed to accommodate simultaneous connections for multiple devices and improve communication stability. Furthermore, it supports IPv6 IPoE connections, Beamforming Z, and band steering functions, ensuring comfortable communication within the home.

In terms of security, it features a 'Security Wi-Fi' function that isolates communication to reduce the risk of virus infection and information theft, and also supports 'WPA3 Personal'. It also includes 'Kodomo Net Timer 3', 'Friends Wi-Fi' for guests, and an automatic firmware update function, making it configured with family use in mind. It recommends up to 36 connected devices, suitable for a three-story detached house or a 4LDK apartment. Its dimensions are approximately 36mm (W) x 128mm (D) x 150mm (H), and it weighs approximately 400g.

In addition to standard vertical placement, it also supports wall mounting, increasing flexibility in installation location. Furthermore, it supports 'Hanareya Mode 2' and 'Wi-Fi EasyMesh', allowing for use between buildings on the same property, including outdoors, and for expanding the communication area throughout the entire home. For CATV operators, its initial DHCP setting and MAC address displayed with a barcode are features that simplify introduction. Included accessories are a stand, a dedicated AC adapter, and a 1m LAN cable.
