Anker Japan has begun sales of the portable power station "Anker Solix S2000 Portable Power Station." Priced at 199,900 yen, it is available from the Anker Japan Official Online Store, direct Anker Stores, Amazon.co.jp, Rakuten Ichiba, and select electronics retailers. This high-output model is designed for refrigerator backup during power outages, featuring a large capacity of 2010Wh and a rated AC output of 1500W as its main characteristics.
Compared to its predecessor in the same capacity range, this product boasts an ultra-compact design, with its main unit size reduced by approximately 36% and weight by about 14%. Its dimensions are approximately 20.8cm (W) x 28.2cm (D) x 32.3cm (H), and it weighs around 16.2kg. Its square shape makes it easy to store in kitchen or living room cabinets and bookshelves, designed with permanent indoor placement in mind.
In terms of performance, it is stated to be able to power a typical 500L-class refrigerator for approximately 50 hours, and it instantly switches to battery power upon detecting a power outage. Equipped with AC ports on both the front and back, it allows for easy separation of wiring: appliances for constant connection can use the rear ports, while emergency devices can use the front. It also features OptiSave technology, which suppresses self-discharge to 6W, and HyperFlash, enabling a full charge in approximately 108 minutes, making it highly suitable for disaster preparedness.
The battery uses lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells, and its charge/discharge cycle has been extended to 6,000 times.
