ASUS Japan announced on November 6th the "ROG Destrier Edition 20 Gaming Chair" and the "ROG Umbrella" folding umbrella, commemorating the 20th anniversary of the ROG brand. The "ROG Umbrella" will go on sale starting November 13th. The chair boasts a special black & gold design, characteristic of ROG, while the umbrella will be available in two color variations: black & red "ROG Umbrella BK-RD" and black & white "ROG Umbrella BK-WH".
The "ROG Destrier Edition 20 Gaming Chair" not only features sophisticated embellishments befitting an anniversary model but also incorporates a structure that allows for precise adjustments of the headrest, lumbar support, and armrests. In a dedicated mode for mobile gaming, the armrests can be raised up to 14cm and support 360-degree rotation, making it easy to position them to suit various playing postures. Furthermore, it is equipped with removable sound-insulating panels, designed to suppress ambient noise and enhance immersion.
The "ROG Umbrella" combines high-quality materials with ROG's distinctive design. Its 113cm diameter canopy employs a reverse-folding structure, which prevents water drips by enclosing the wet surface inwards when closed. The frame utilizes fiberglass, achieving a balance of lightness and durability. It also features a one-touch open/close button, making it easy to handle during commutes and outings. The ROG Destrier Edition 20 Gaming Chair is priced at 155,980 yen, and the ROG Umbrella at 4,800 yen.
