Kyokuto Electronics will launch the "SUNEAST ULTIMATE PRO GOLD Series Portable SSD II" on November 4. Prices are ¥36,800 for 512GB, ¥56,800 for 1TB, and ¥99,800 for 2TB. Sales channels include major electronics retailers and online stores. It will be available in three capacities: 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB, and two colors: black and ice blue.
The SUNEAST ULTIMATE PRO GOLD Series Portable SSD II is a portable SSD compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 and USB Type-C. When combined with compatible devices, it is said to achieve a maximum read speed of 2000MB/s and a maximum write speed of 1800MB/s. Utilizing 3D TLC flash, it is suitable for quickly transferring and backing up large photo data, video materials, and business files.
The casing features a compact and lightweight design, measuring approximately 90×54×9.6mm and weighing around 50g. Its size is similar to a business card, making it easy to carry, and it includes a carabiner-compatible hole for easy attachment to bags or pouches. The exterior combines silicone with a matte finish, providing a pleasant feel and improved grip. Furthermore, it boasts IP65 dustproof and waterproof performance and supports operating temperatures from -10 to 50℃, making it easy to handle in situations where it's frequently carried, such as outdoor photography, travel, or business trips.
