Warning: LINE May Become Unusable from November 4th for Those Who Haven't Updated in a While

LINE Yahoo will end support for older versions of the LINE app as of November 4th. Users who haven't updated LINE for a long time should take note.

The affected versions are LINE for iPhone/iPad below 14.6.3, and LINE for Android below 14.4.6.

However, if your smartphone's OS is outdated, you might not be able to update the LINE app itself. Continued use requires iOS/iPadOS 15.0 or higher, and Android 8.0 or higher. If your OS is old, you will need to update it first.

You can check your LINE app version by navigating to 'Home' -> 'Settings' -> 'About LINE' within the app. While users who typically have automatic updates enabled are likely unaffected, those using older devices or manually updating their apps should verify their version.

It could be particularly inconvenient if LINE suddenly becomes unusable, especially for those who rely on it for communication with family and friends. With only one week left until November 4th, it's recommended to complete the update as soon as possible.
