Elecom launched the "CLWHDBL01WH" cordless handheld cleaner with a charging stand in mid-October. This 2-in-1 device combines powerful suction with an air duster. Priced at 7,979 yen, it boasts a lightweight body measuring approximately 57mm in diameter and 271mm in height, weighing about 460g, yet delivers a maximum suction power of approximately 17,000Pa in strong mode when used as a cleaner.
In addition to its cleaning function for vacuuming up dirt and dust, this product also features an air duster function for blowing away dust. Suction power can be switched between strong and weak modes, and airflow can also be adjusted when using the air duster. This versatility allows for tailored cleaning in various locations, such as around desks, inside cars, keyboard crevices, and sofa areas. Another notable feature is its design, which incorporates a brushless motor for relatively quiet operation.
Five types of attachments are included: a wide nozzle, a brush-equipped crevice nozzle, and a silicone nozzle for compression bags for suction; and a fine nozzle and an air pump nozzle for blowing. This configuration expands its uses from vacuuming wide surfaces to cleaning tiny crevices, deflating compression bags, and even inflating balloons. By switching between nozzles, it can cover everything from everyday minor cleaning tasks to storage assistance.
For charging, it supports both simply placing it on the included charging stand and standalone USB Type-C charging.
